Located in Austin, Texas Wholesome Generation is engaging children and families in holistic sustainable lifelong learning pathways through progressive education, nature experiences, food and community. 1 in 5 children lack access to healthy foods while the average child spends 7 hours infornt of a screen daily. They are on a mission to change that and our partnership was a perfect pair! In the wake of COVID-19 as our landscapes shifted, founder Lene Saint-Orens, found a new way to continue to provide meals for her community-she bought a food truck! To continue her focus on the comminty she serves, she found us, the inspiration for her food truck was to be reflective, inclusinve and welcoming within that community. We were lucky to have also invited her daughter, Julianna (15) and Luna (7), to join us a mentee while painting the food truck.
